	 of Bethany was a place of deep intimacy and friendship with Christ\, wher
	e Mary\, Martha and Lazarus were willing to learn at his feet.  In the ser
	ene oasis of the Catholic Leadership Centre\, we will immerse ourselves in
	 the story of how Jesus encountered the friends he loved at Bethany.  Thro
	ugh prayer\, Scripture and reflection\, you will be invited to encounter J
	esus Christ anew.\n\nTake a step back from the busyness of life and discov
	er what it means to be formed by Jesus on The Bethany Way\, and be open to
	 where he is calling you next.\n\n This retreat is a free 'taster' of The 
	Bethany Way\, the Archdiocese of Melbourne's flagship formation initiative
	.  The Bethany Way is an invitation to let Christ form you\, allowing him 
	to shape the person you are becoming and the way you live your calling.  E
	very day\, Christ invites us to become more fully the people he created us
	 to be.  This is the real project of formation.\n\nWhether you are a paren
